Description: My only trip to Chicago was littered with shenanigans. From Corey making it through Ohio in about 80 minutes, to The Soup Man being the only real voice heard for four straight hours, to eating at Ed Debevic’s without being briefed as to what to expect, to me making Corey laugh to the point of crying by brushing my teeth, the trip was indeed memorable. Amongst these events, Jaymar and I found ample time to take silly pictures with Doug, an old floormate at college, who had subsequently moved back to Chicago. We decided to commemorate my first (and, to date, only) visit to a Steak N Shake by climbing into a makeshift totem pole for a photo op. Little known fact about Chicago: it can be pretty windy at times, which is how it earned it’s nickname, The Sunshine State. This is evident in my hair, which had reached critical mass in this year, whenever it was.
