You’re afraid they’ll be too great.
Why are your faults so obtrusive in your opinion?
If you could see yourself through my eyes for only a second,
You’d be shocked.
Michaelangelo in all his artistic brilliance
Couldn’t replicate in marble the beauty I see.
And nobody has yet to capture
The beauty of a soul,
But it wouldn’t matter.
You’re still beyond duplication.
Those faults that to you are glaring obstacles
Are to me inconsequential and forgotten.
Your greatest fault is your disgraceful misnaming
Of your greatest qualities.
